If a foreign entrepreneur wishes to establish a business in Hong Kong, he can apply for an investment visa if his business has a substantial contribution to the Hong Kong economy. There is no minimum investment requirement under the scheme. The investment visa is issued for two years initially and is renewable thereafter if the business remains viable.
